In Shoot Slayr, you aren't just paying for an image; you’re paying for the processing power required to create it. This is why we ask you to choose your resolution before you hit "Submit." It allows the engine to dedicate the right amount of "muscle" to your specific needs.
1. Choosing Your Output
The resolution selector is a critical part of the Sentence Builder. Because our AI builds the image at the requested size from the ground up, the choice you make here is final for that specific generation.
-
1K (Standard): Perfect for social media posts, email marketing, and mobile-first content. It’s fast, looks great on glass, and is the most credit-efficient.
-
2K (High Def): Ideal for web headers, full-width blog hero images, and digital lookbooks where you need that extra crispness.
-
4K (Studio Grade): Reserved for print, high-end desktop site heroes, and large-scale marketing materials. This uses the maximum execution power of the engine.
2. The Credit Connection
Your credit balance is tied directly to the [imageCount] and the Resolution you select. Higher resolutions require more "Execution" energy, meaning they cost more credits per image.
3. The "Up-Res" Workaround
A common question is: "I shot this in 1K and I love it—can I make it 4K now?"
The short answer is no. Because of how AI generation works, you can’t simply "stretch" a low-res image into a high-res one without losing the studio quality. However, you can use the Reference Image trick to recreate the magic:
-
Download the 1K image you love.
-
Upload that image into the Reference Image slot of a new shoot.
-
Set your resolution to 2K or 4K in the Sentence Builder.
-
Use a Micro Brief: Add a note like "Recreate this exact shot at high resolution".
-
Submit: While not a guaranteed pixel-for-pixel copy, the
imageAnalysisvariable will protect the composition and hero, usually giving you a very similar masterpiece at the size you need.
4. Why This Model?
We believe in Credits & Control. By choosing your resolution upfront, you only pay for exactly what you need. You aren't subsidizing 4K processing for other users if you only ever need 1K social assets. It keeps the system fair, fast, and high-performance for everyone.
